Geothermal Mineral Pool
We have one of the few remaining genuine, geothermal mineral pools in a Rotorua motel - which is filled from our own geothermal re-injection bore - and the temperature of the pool is kept around 41°C. Many people find the minerals contained in the water to be both therapeutic and soothing for muscular pains, arthritis and rheumatism - Healing Waters. Open 7x24 with free access to all our guests, our mineral pool is covered from the elements, making it available for relaxing in all weathers.
Children's Play Area
A secure play area which has a substantial adventure set with a tower, slide, trapeze / rings, firemans pole, and three sizes of swing - including a toddler swing. There is also a play house, a see saw and a crawling tunnel.
Plunge Pool
Our large geothermally heated outdoor plunge pool has the temperature set around 36°C in the winter - less in the summer months. It is the ideal size and depth for teaching a young child to swim; and is also open 7x24.
Wireless Broadband
We provide a free wireless broadband service which generally extends into all of our Apartments.
Guest BBQ
We provide a free gas-fired barbecue for our guests, along with the appropriate barbecue tools. The barbecue is located in the gazebo by the plunge pool, along with seating, a large table and lighting for evening cook ups.
Secure Sports Equipment Storage
With so many people now bringing larger sports equipment to Rotorua, we are providing free, secure storage for our guests. The storage is suitable for mountain bikes, kayaks etc.
Massage Shower/Spa
The property has imported luxury massage shower/spas for two of our studio apartments, and also for our large, Family Suite. Computer controlled, they offer a number of shower options as well as having a spa facility, and guests have been known to stay an extra night or two to enjoy them again and again.
SKYTV
We provide 6 SKY Digital (satellite TV) channels and 9 free to air television channels are available in all of our Apartments. Each Apartment also has its own DVD player.
Video Library
There is a small video collection in the office, children and adult, which is available to guests at no cost.
Gardens
Our gardens are admired by our guests, as they are well stocked with a wide variety of plants, shrubs and trees. There is always something in flower somewhere within the property, and the numerous palm trees add a semi-tropical dimension to the pool end of the property.
